The Seattle Times: Gay-pride parade shatters records


"'Tiffany' throws a bouquet to the crowd watching the Seattle Pride March/Parade yesterday. Organizers said it lasted nearly four hours, attracting a record-breaking crowd of 150,000 and a record 184 entries. The huge turnout makes it more likely that the gay-pride festivities will move from Volunteer Park on Capitol Hill to Seattle Center next year, parade spokeswoman Lauri Hennessey said."
