KIROTV.com - Events: "The ever-evolving and eclectic Fremont Fair is one of Seattle's largest and most beloved community art celebrations, drawing people from throughout the Northwest. Celebrating the Summer Solstice, it is considered the city's summer kickoff celebration, featuring more than 350 craft and import booths, 50+ local musical artists, street performers, beer gardens, an Art Car display, Saturday night outdoor movie and 30+ excellent food and beverage booths.

The Fremont Solstice Parade

With crazy costumes, outrageous floats and yes, naked bicyclists, the Solstice Parade has become a Mardi Gras style spectacle of fun, music and dance. The parade begins Saturday at noon, starting at at 3rd Ave NW and NW 36th."
